Privacy
LAST UPDATED · 21 JULY 2026
dusk til dawn ("we", "us") is an Australian business preparing to open a reformer pilates studio in inner Sydney. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and your choices. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Founding deposit details. When you hold a place, our payment provider Stripe collects your name, email, and payment details. We never see or store your card number.
- Your preferences. The class hours you select on this site travel with your deposit so we can plan the timetable around real demand.
- Usage analytics. We measure how the site is used (pages viewed, buttons clicked, which version of the page you saw). Where possible we use privacy-preserving analytics that do not track you across the web.
- Advertising data. If you arrived from an ad, the ad platform (for example Meta) may set a cookie or receive an event confirming the visit or a deposit, used to measure and improve our advertising.
Why we collect it
- To hold your founding place and process or refund your deposit.
- To contact you about the studio: progress, opening dates, and your membership. You can opt out of updates any time; refund and legally required messages still get through.
- To decide where and when to open, using aggregate demand data.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run this: Stripe (payments), our analytics provider, our email provider, and advertising platforms for measurement. We do not sell personal information. Some providers store data outside Australia (for example in the United States) under their own safeguards.
Refunds and your data
Deposits are refundable on request at any time, and refunded automatically if we do not proceed. When we refund you, we keep the minimum transaction record the law requires and delete marketing contact details on request.
Access, correction, deletion
Email us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
